ABOUT US

MISSION
Fundación Triunfadora is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women to achieve a life of autonomy, dignity, and freedom. The foundation provides support to survivors of domestic violence focused on safety, empowerment, and self-sufficiency, and prevents violence by increasing community awareness.
VISION
Fundación Triunfadora is committed to a world where domestic violence and violence against women and girls are not tolerated. Empowering women and children is our end goal - for them to be able to rebuild their lives free from violence and fear, through education, personal development, and emergency services.
OUR HISTORY
Fundación Triunfadora was founded in response to the lack of coordination services for survivors of domestic violence in the Santa Elena, province of Ecuador. We work from an inclusive and empowering standpoint based on the principles of social justice.

We believe in the rights of all people to live safely and free from fear, abuse, coercion, oppression, and violence. Working against the conditions that give origin to domestic violence cases is best achieved through direct services, community education, collaboration, and networking at a local, national, and international level. We believe that services should always be accessible and responsive to survivors of domestic violence, regardless of their identities, beliefs, abilities, and experiences. Taking responsibility for our community includes being accountable for survivors of domestic violence from various groups, as well as for their children.
